This project was commissioned by UNSW to test the potential of their Campus 2020 Master Plan, 2005. Conceptually the scheme identifies floor space provisions, dwelling mix, building heights, building orientation, vehicular and pedestrian circulation. Proposed building form optimises solar access whilst minimising overshadowing of adjacent structures and spaces. A ten storey gateway building is positioned adjacent to the proposed High Street Square, marking the entry to the campus. Cranked built forms along High Street define a revitalised northern campus edge.
